Hey band. Just a few reminders for you guys.

1. Our concert is on Saturday, 27th November so please try to at least go over your scores while we don't have band for the next few weeks. When you're trying to relax after studying too much, pick up your instrument for just a few minutes and just play a scale or something. Keep your emboucher. :)
2. No one is allowed to self-prac outside the band room. We have informed you guys before that neighbours have complained multiple times, and recently complained again. So as IJ Band, we'll be considerate and let them have some peace by not playing outside the band room. Also, try your utmost best not to play at the stairwells either. The sound echoes really loud there. So yeah, try sticking to practicing in the band room. If you really have to, practice at the science lab block.
3. NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO SIGN UP FOR TWINNING PROGRAMMES DURING THE HOLIDAYS! If you haven't noticed, all the twinning programmes are happening during our preparations for concert. This is for the benefit of the band so that we'll really reduce the number of absentees and hopefully have as many practices with a FULL band.

So, I hope you guys understand why we don't allow our members to go for twinning programmes and why we don't want you guys playing outside the band room. Anyway, all the best for exams, and make good use of the study break. STUDY! Sec 2s, streaming this year, so work hard yeah? Sec 3s, we need to prepare for Os next year. It's coming up really soon! Imagine, in a year's time, we'll be in the same place as our seniors right now. So don't be complacent and think we have a lot of time k? Work hard and do your best! See you guys after exams! :)
