HELLO IJ BAND!
it is 5 days to FHL III! :D

okay, i know some of you may feel a little apprehensive about this concert cuz you're not confident of pulling it off and you're really scared of screwing up. some of you may be thinking that there's really not enough time left and you're panicking because you think you can't play.

well i'm here to tell you that this is all in your MIND.

your mind's a powerful thing and you've got the authority to change how it thinks. if you're thinking that you're gonna screw up concert, well think again. concert is going to be AMAZING. like Mr Chan said today, it's really meaningful and it's very significant. for many of us, it's our first concert as seniors leading the band and guiding the juniors. for the band, it marks 15 long incredible years of music making and friendships forged. for sir, it's his first concert with US (: WE CAN DO THIS IJ BAND!

after many many many months of hard work, much practising and tears for many of us, i believe that we will be able to pull through. even though camp was really draining and intensive, i think it was productive and we really did manage to work on a lotta things and polish up the pieces. YOU guys went through all of this crap and you've come this far. MAKE IT WORTHWHILE. believe in yourself and have faith that yes, concert will be a tremendous success. don't lose hope in yourself when others around you still haven't.

The senior comm has an immense amount of faith in the band that we CAN rock CJ's auditorium and that the audience will LOVE us (: don't lose the special spark that IJ band has. play with pride on stage, play with passion, be proud of the fact that you and the band went through so many things together to come to this stage of our band journey and treasure every moment you spend on stage. believe me, it will be an INCREDIBLE experience.

have FUN at concert (: it's YOUR time to shine, and it's our time to show everybody what IJ BAND's made of! even if you made a mistake, don't pour over it. there's no time to cry over spilt milk. move on in the piece and move together with the band! I WANNA SEE EVERYBODY WAYANG! THE BEST SECTION GETS THE MOST AWESOME PRESENT EVER! just relish the fact that you are part of a beautiful piece of music, a part of a band with a special spirit and part of your individual sections. bear in mind that IJ BAND needs YOU! without you, we're nothing. without you, we're not the same. without you, we can't function.

so keep holding on cuz you know we'll MAKE IT THROUGH WE'LL MAKE IT THROUGH!
JUUUUUST STAAAAY STRONG!
CUZ Y'KNOW I'M HERE FOR YOU, I'M HERE FOR YOU! :D

keep fighting the fight and keep pushing yourself! remember that only the true winners keep fighting the battle even if they were 'licked a thousand years ago' (: OKAY LET'S GO IJ BAND! 5 MORE DAYS WHOOO!

with much love,
Kelly (:
