yo yo yo IJ band. ahaha.
ok this would make it my first official post on this blog.
i'm so proud of myself.

ok besides that...
i would like to say,
that overture no. 1 sounded...
WHEW!
NICE! i was in shock. really i was. it's the best that i've heard since the last time i went for band.
keep up the good work you all. (unless you've been hiding.. hee hee)
i shall not be a bady and point out bad stuff. you'll get it during band prac. muahaha.
i'm so proud of you all.

please continue to work hard and drive passion into your music playing. your instrument is an amplifier for your feelings.
if you feel as if you hate the music, the audience will feel it too.
if you feel as if you love it, the audience will too!
do find some way to love it even if you don't.
everyone must put in an effort because band is a cca that works on teamwork.
remember, one chopstick breaks easier than 10 chopsticks tied together.
don't be ashamed or embarassed to do it, cause if you are brave enough, people will follow. there's a first for everything.
don't be afraid to play louder if you feel that that part needs to come out more. if you're over doing it, either mr tan or i will point it out. you'll never over do it. but you too must know your limits.
if we perform badly, we do it as a band. no one is to mock anyone. we have to stick with each other through thick and thin. in good and bad times. this is what makes us different from other cca's. we're united even though we're so big.
don't be the first to blame others. everyone mustn't only complain but come up with solutions.

it's a new year. a new beginning. let's all start afresh together and make band life much more fun!
all in all, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
do enjoy your holidays though we all must go back to school tomorrow. ahaha.

cheers!
catherine :)
