Hey IJ band people! (: It's our first blog post. Lol isn't this so exciting?
Anyway auditions start tomorrow and I know all of you have been working hard so keep up the good work okay! Don't be too nervous just play your best. Anyway the main point of auditions isn't to embarrass you all but it's to show you where you stand and teach you how to improve.
Please try to turn up for band practices ok. It's like sir's last few practices with us so lets treasure them and make the best out of them and let's all go for band practices with a positive attitude.
Concert's in 19 days time and we still have so much to work on, so everybody has to play their own part in making the concert a success. Most importantly I want to say that each and everyone of you is important and we're all in this together. The committee has faith in all of you okay so continue working hard!! (:
Reminders: Hand up your band camp forms if you haven't yet, pay $10 to Monica and return your ticket stubs and money by band camp.
Here's a rough list of items to bring for band camp:
1. Writing materials
2. Sleeping bag
3. Clothes, school socks
4. Money (not too much)
5. Toiletries
6. Towel
7. Slippers
8. School shoes
9. Band file
10. That's all for now (at least that's all I can recall haha)
